Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps on iOS in Guatemala Q1 2023

Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on iOS in Guatemala displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with 82 downloads at the end of December 2022 and peaking at 250 in the first week of January. The downloads then varied between 95 and 204 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 7.9K at the end of December to around 8.7K by the end of March.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads in the first week of January, reaching 192 from just 38 the previous week. However, the downloads then dipped and stabilized, ranging from 14 to 50 for the rest of the quarter. Active users also saw an initial increase from 166 to 300 in the first week of January, but gradually decreased to around 204 by the end of March.

Status - Gateway to Ethereum showed a sharp decline in downloads over the quarter. Starting with 114 downloads in early January, the app saw a significant drop, reaching a low of 2 downloads in the week of March 20. The weekly downloads remained minimal towards the end of the quarter.

Sweat Wallet exhibited a consistent performance in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads ranged from 15 to 61, with a noticeable peak in mid-March. Active users showed a steady increase from 489 at the end of December to 568 by the end of March, indicating a growing user base.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet displayed a stable download trend, with weekly downloads ranging between 12 and 51 throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively consistent, starting at 439 at the end of December and ending at 460 by the end of March.
